Beatrix is born!
We’ve decided to write a blog to document our experience of owning a Campervan. We want to use this blog as somewhere we can keep memories of places we have been and hopefully give some recommendations to you guys! So in May 2020 (during lockdown) we took the plunge and bought a van! Since I can remember I have always wanted a Campervan – mainly a cute little old VW that you imagine. I’ve always liked the idea of a travelling home and escaping at any chance possible. So after a lot of discussions and doing our research into different types of vans, ones already converted, converting one ourselves, commissioning conversions etc, we decided to buy a Ford transit custom. After looking around on the internet we decided to go with an ex AA van – bright yellow! And eventually found our Beatrix.
